In front of the gates of the Lainzer Tiergarten, on the terrace of the "Kuratorium Wiener Pensionisten-Wohnhaus Föhrenhof (Hietzing)" you can watch the busy activity of the bees all year round. The somewhat darker blossom honey from the 13th district contains mostly linden honey. The nectar of the linden blossom gives the honey its floral note, while the honeydew contributes a strong, spicy, almost malty taste.
