Caribbean sugar cane meets Mühlviertler distilling art.
This premium rum from Peter Affenzeller is produced using the tried and tested pot still process in a chrome-plated copper kettle. The basis is high-quality molasses from selected and hand-processed Caribbean sugar cane from the countries of Mauritius, Uruguay and Nicaragua.
After distilling, the rum is stored for eight years in pre-filled whiskey barrels made of American white oak, in which sherry was previously allowed to mature. This gives RuMonkey a unique, extremely complex variety of aromas.
