Falstaff 91 points Welschriesling vines that are up to 60 years old grow on slate and quartz soils in the top locations - Eisenberg, Hannersberg, Königsberg and Markt Neuhodis. Spontaneously fermented and matured in large old wooden barrels, after 8 months on the yeast it was bottled without filtration or fining. Delicately underlaid with tobacco and nuts, fine apple fruit, mineral touch. White pome fruit, fresh acidity, mineral-citrusy finish. A simply unique Welschriesling! Alc.11.5%vol., dry
