This 100% Zweigelt from vines that are over 50 years old is hand-picked into small crates, destemmed, foot-pounded and spontaneously fermented in an open fermentation vat. After the malolactic fermentation, the storage takes place in used oak barrels with 225 l & 500 l for 18 months. Flavors on the palate and in the fragrance overflow Cherry and dark berries to slightly earthy and leafy notes; juicy and dense, present but soft tannin, dark-spicy-fruity in the finish! Alc. 13.0% vol., dry.
