Clear herbal spices and a complex fruit bouquet on the nose. Wonderfully full-bodied on the palate - lots of dark fruit such as currants, blackberries, pickled black herb olives, lots of spice, subtle smoky notes, some coffee - chocolate praline with cherry liqueur filling, some fruit compote, hints of tobacco. Juicy, elegant, ripe cherries, ripe tannins, mineral and well-lingering, fine spicy finish. Aging: 24 months in a new small oak barrel. Alc. 14% vol., dry.
