Founded in 2010, Maya Mountain Cacao was the first exporter of High Quality Cacao in Belize. The pioneers in the field of Transparent Trade work with more than 30 organic certified smallholder families in the district of Toledo, most of whom are indigenous Q'eqchi and Mopan Maya.
Character: long-lasting, unusually fruity aroma with notes of ripe pineapple; a slight acidity makes this chocolate the perfect choice.
The Maya Mountain 70% variety was awarded silver at the INTERNATIONAL CHOCOLATE AWARDS in Amsterdam in 2018.
